Joel Lamont or "Coach Monty" as the kids call him comes to us after a long collegiate career starting right here at Okanagan College in the CCBC. Starting in 2012, Joel played three seasons for Coach Geoff White before heading to NCAA DII New Mexico - Highlands in 2015.

His collegiate career wrapped up for NCAA DII Cal State Easy Bay in 2016 where he was named All-Conference Academic.

 Locally, Joel played for the Kelowna Falcons in 2014 and 2015 and was the head coach of the Kelowna Sun Devils Bantam AAA program in 2020.

For the 2021 season, Joel was the pitching coach for the Sun Devils 18U College Prep program and then stepped in as temporary head coach. 

Joel is great at teaching the technical aspects of pitching.  He is great for pitchers that are looking to get to the next level in their training.

Joel is 1 of only 2 DVS certified trainers in Canada!
